Coming soon to a mailbox near you! 📬
The 2023 Fall Community Education booklet and BEA Briefing are being printed as we speak, and will be delivered by mail to all households in the Blue Earth Area school district in the next week or so.
Things to look for:
Fun new classes being offered for adults, including Lynette's Touch of Design home decor crafting classes, a couple of tempting seasonal cooking classes 🍲, a Car Care class 🚗, and a Brunch Charcuterie class 🥞 name a few of our offerings.
We have an abundance of exciting activities for our youth, such as Superhero Academy 🦸♂️🦸♀️, a couple of yummy cooking classes 🍪, and yay--4-H classes are back 🍀!
Don't forget to check out BEA's newest staff in the BEA Briefing, and look for articles from our staff members about many topics, including community engagement, Mrs. Ackerman's trip with students to the Bahamas, and FREE Preschool.
We can't wait to see what catches your interest! 😃

DID YOU KNOW?
We have a secure Dropbox for anyone who needs to drop off paperwork after hours for anyone at school--this includes the high school, middle school, elementary school, the district office, the transportation office, Community Ed and any other staff housed within our school buildings.
This is great info for families turning in forms and paperwork before school starts!
The box is checked twice each weekday--in the morning and at the end of the day.
Please--no payments should be left in the dropbox; deliver them directly to the office.

⛳️This summer, our Golf for Beginners class was graced by a fantastic group of ladies, under the guidance of our talented coach Carol Weerts. The group comprised a diverse mix of individuals, including both newcomers to the sport and seasoned players who had been honing their skills for years. Regardless of their background, each participant benefited from Carol's coaching, acquiring valuable insights to enhance their game. 🏌️♀️

SCHEDULE CHANGE to #GOTSKILLZ Basketball Camp
Coach Matt has had a conflict come up with the Fridays in July schedule, unfortunately, so he would like to move camp days to Thursdays instead. This means the new schedule looks like this:
July 6, 13, 20, & 27 (Thursdays)
(Grades 1-2) 8:30 – 9:30 am
(Grades 3-4) 9:45 – 10:45 am
(Grades 5-6) 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Location: High School Gym
ALSO--the first camp day will take place in the high school Commons instead of the gym, as they are refinishing the gym floor next week.
You can enter the school through the main doors for that first day (Thursday, July 6).
We apologize if the change in schedule causes conflicts for your family. We understand if you need to cancel or if you won't be able to come to each camp day. If you must cancel, please let us know and we will refund your fee.

🌧Saturday's rain couldn't stop our Daddy & Me Day class! After moving into the gym, the dads and kiddos found plenty to do to enjoy their time together--Spikeball, Foosball, archery, and more.
We just feel bad for the moms who had to stay home and find things to keep themselves busy! 😆

🎾 Future tennis pros?!? It might be too soon to tell, but having fun is a good way to start learning the game!
☀☀☀It was hot and humid for Tennis Camp this week, but these kiddos (and coaches) were troopers!

Our STEM Wizards class was a hit this morning, and learning to code Ozobots was the highlight! 🤖 Thanks to Mrs. Murphy and Kennedy for teaching this fun class!

⚾️🥎It was a small group for K-2 tee-ball this week, but that just means everyone got more chances to bat! 😄 Thank you to coaches Lily, Logan and Taylor for making it a fun week for our tee-ballers!

87 degrees and sunny! ☀ It's going to be a great day to swim for free at the Winnebago Swimming Pool tomorrow (Wednesday, June 21) from 1:00-4:00 pm. All are welcome!

It's a great day for Summer Vacation!
