Blue Earth Area Schools is delighted to share some wonderful news with our community! Thanks to the generous grant funding we have received for the 2023-24 academic year, we are thrilled to announce that Discovery Place Preschool will be completely free for families with 3, 4, and 5-year-old children. We owe this remarkable opportunity to the grants we've been awarded, including the Voluntary Pre-K (VPK), School Readiness, and Pathways II grants, all provided by the Minnesota Department of Education. With these funds, we can ensure that every child has access to top-notch preschool education.
Not only will Discovery Place Preschool be free, but the benefits extend even further. Thanks to this funding, our Jumpstart preschool program can now offer partial discounts to Jumpstart families, making this full-day program much more affordable for our families.
